This one is probably not an old recipe, but it was in one of the boxes I have so I thought I would make it. While it is called a Casserole, don’t try this as a meal on its own. It is definitely a side dish.

Tater Tot Casserole
1 stick butter
1 medium onion diced
1 cup 8oz sour cream
1 can cream of mushroom
1 cup cheddar cheese (I used 2, I love cheese)
1 – 2 pound bag tater tots

Grease casserole dish. Microwave butter 2 minutes (uhhhh, do about 30-45 seconds, and add time until melted). Add onion, sour cream, mushroom soup, and cheddar cheese. Add tater tots and mix. Sprinkle with Cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30-40 minutes.
