Pumpkin Spice Spread – Pumpkin Spice is no longer just for coffee, just take a look around and you can see everything from pumpkin spice cereal to pumpkin spice dog treats (seriously). It seems everybody loves pumpkin spice and cream cheese and now you can impress your guests with this homemade pumpkin spice spread.  This one is a hit at gatherings for holiday events.

Making your own Pumpkin Spice Spread is really easy, takes minutes and saves money over buying the same thing at overpriced delis. Not known for cooking? Whip this up and impress your kids with a treat!

You can blend up this 3 Minute Pumpkin Spice Spread and have it ready to serve immediately or you can cover and chill it and serve when you’re ready for it. Feel free to add in your other fall flavors for your own customized spread, like honey or maple syrup. This one is great for bagels, waffles, pancakes, or fruit!

Don’t think this Pumpkin Spice Cream Cheese Spread is just for bagels either, I tried it on my waffles along with some maple syrup and it turned out great!

Random Fun Bagel Fact (thank you wikipedia):

  • The hole in the middle of bagels used to be used for transport for street vendors.  The bagels fit very well on a wooden dowel.

Random Fun Pumpkin Fact (thanks again wikipedia):

  • The oldest evidence of a pumpkin seed was found in Mexico somewhere between 700 and 5500 BC.
